Beer Cheese Dip

I N G R E D I E N T S

  • 2 cups shredded 6 Month Aged Irish Cheddar, shredded

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • ¾ cup beer (lager or ale works best)

  • ½ cup whole milk or heavy cream

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Sliced green onions (optional, for topping)

I N S T RU C T I O N S

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then whisk in the flour to form a smooth paste.

  2. Slowly pour in the beer, whisking until smooth and slightly thickened.

  3. Add the milk, Dijon, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  4. Reduce the heat to low and gradually stir in the shredded Irish cheddar until melted and creamy.

  5. Season with salt and pepper, top with green onions, and serve warm with pretzels, veggies, or bread.
